"Those in possession of absolute power can not only prophesy and make their prophecies come true, but they can also lie and make their lies come true." - Eric Hoffer, American philosopher (1902-1983)
Cynthia Chung indeed does do great work. There’s this whole connection between the Huxley’s, Darwin and Einstein and how they conspired, in a very mafioso sense, to forward their rationalist worldview at the expense of people like Tesla. It’s an absolutely fascinating story, and one with enormous implications but as I said in another comment, there comes a point you have to stop jumping down rabbit holes if you ever want to get an article completed.
I’ve got a lengthy drive ahead of me later in the week, so I’m going to give those podcasts a listen then. I’ve been thinking about doing a piece not entirely dissimilar to the subjects discussed in the third part, so hopefully that sparks some inspiration. Thanks for the link.
Honestly, even after writing the article and putting together the video, I still really haven't come to any satisfying conclusion. Although I didn't have time to include it in the piece (at a certain point, you just have to stop diving down rabbit holes) but Orwell also had a ton of meetings with intelligence agencies that come with all kind of implications. On top of that, he's just been minted on the new £2 coin, which alone would be enough to make me question whether he really is the anti-establishment figure he's remembered as.
Cynthia Chung (Through a Glass Darkly) has written extensively about this bunch. Deep digs and impeccable research.

This is a question i have pondered quite a lot. I've seen solid arguments for both, and each side is using his public quotes in defense.

Anyway, thanks for checking out my video.
