Carson, I've spent the entire evening reading your collected works here. You write so clearly and eruditely, exposing the absurd efforts of the self-confessed elite and the obedience of consensus-driven populations, I've been not only educated but entertained, if one can ever use that word in this appalling context. But as your Substack is named Midnight at the Matinee, I felt it plausible. Hats off to you. I look forward to reading more.
Hi Navyo, and thanks ever so much for taking the time to say so - being a writer yourself, you no doubt appreciate there are times when comments such as this legitimately make your day.
As you may have read in one of my previous posts, real life has rather forced me to put pause to my writing for the time being but thankfully, that period may be coming to a end. I’ve been sketching out a couple ideas and now, it’s just about finding the opportunity to turn them into something worth reading. Comments such as yours certainly go a long way to providing the motivation, so thanks again for the encouragement and I hope to have something cranked out before too long.
You're welcome, Carson. Yes, support in any form is needed these days. I too have had to pause. Only two articles in the past year. Mostly, that was due to a sense of demoralization and overload of the world's ills. I know I'm not the only one to say so. Like you, I'm looking forward to publishing more before too long.
I can completely understand about the demoralization. What I would say, however, is that it can be something of a chicken and egg scenario, at least for me. I've been working on a new article the last couple days and it's strange, all of a sudden the world's ills, while they certainly haven't gone anyway, now seem infinitely more weatherable. Amazing the change a little creative output can have on one's mindset.

Thanks, Carson. That was really good to read. I'll take your cue.
