Some Stuff I Think You Might Like #3
A regular round-up of all the best articles, videos, and podcasts that probably didn’t make your newsfeed.
During a recent visit to my local bookstore, my first since becoming a father, I found myself gravitating toward to a corner I had never been before – the parenthood section.
Scanning the shelves, one title in particular caught my eye. It was about phobias, or more specifically, how to prevent phobias from taking root in your child, a chapter dedicated to each of the most common. These consisted of everything you might expect – the fear of snakes and the fear of heights, the fear of enclosed spaces and of course, the fear of spiders.
Also included, was a chapter on public speaking. It wasn’t that I was surprised by this – I have been known to get a little clammy at the prospect myself. What did strike me, however, was what the prevalence of this neurosis said about humanity. Throughout the course of our shared history, speaking one’s mind was evidently perilous enough for an instinctual aversion to it to be hardwired into our DNA, an aversion which two years of Covid hysteria and more lately, wall-to-wall Ukrainian war propaganda, have proved depressingly well founded.
Seldom has even minor dissent elicited such a vitriolic response, and yet, even in the amidst of this persecution, still there remain voices willing to push back, voices guided by truth above fear - voices, incidentally, which sound very much like these:
1. The Real Globalist 'Mastermind' Behind the Great Reset – Ruby Eden, RAIR Foundation
With the recent election of Emmanuel Macron – an election which increasingly resembles the US election in terms of security – it seems like a good time to profile, not the Frenchman President himself, but rather, the man who claims to have created him.
Jacques Attali, economist and social theorist, has been nothing less than a towering figure within the political landscape of France for decades, his philosophy proving foundational to the presidencies of left-wing leaders such as François Mitterrand and François Hollande. What he is best known for, however, at least insofar as he is known to the public at all, is his predictions. At times, these have often bordered on prophetic, right down to his contention that WWIII would ignite in Ukraine, and yet, what makes him one of the most important people alive today, is his globalist, techno-utopian vision for the future.
In short, when Jacques Attali talks, the Klaus Schwabs and George Soros’ of the world listen, and frankly, unless we wish our children to grow up in the kind of deranged social credit system these men envisage, it would seem high time humanity does likewise.
Macron encountered Attali after graduating in 2004 from ENA (l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration), one of the country’s most prestigious grandes écoles and a breeding ground for future French presidents.
Attali would play a critical role in opening a new chapter in Macron’s life, earning him wealth and increasing his grasp of the global financial system.
Armed with a recommendation by Attali, Macron joined Rothschild & CIE Banque, an investment bank owned by Rothschild & Co. The young Macron rose rapidly up the bank’s ranks to become a managing partner — and a millionaire in the process.
2. Patel Patriot’s Devolution Series.
One of the most commonly used phrases within the network of pro-Trump influencers, particularly in the time since Biden took office, has been to “Trust the Plan”. Admittedly, I’ve never really been a fan of the term, not least because it seems like a naked attempt to encourage complacency, however, after reading Patel Patriot’s fantastically well researched Devolution series, I have to confess, I’m beginning to think there might be something to it.
Through a collection of publicly available records, the author has put together a compelling theory that, prior to leaving the White House, President Donald Trump delegated certain powers to various elements within the government in order to mitigate the corruption of the incoming regime. The link above is to the latest part in the series, although I thoroughly recommend reading in its entirety so as to appreciate the full scope of this alleged masterplan.
We found out in December of 2020 that prior to the election on October 18th, Bill Barr had quietly named John Durham “Special Counsel” investigating the 2016 election and related matters. It’s significant that this move was made prior to the election as it once again shows the foresight of Donald Trump and his team. They knew the election was going to be stolen. They cemented John Dunham’s investigation without political bias prior to the election being stolen.
3. How Obama-Biden Team Empowered Terrorists in Syria - Aaron Maté
Ever since news of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine wiped Covid from the news cycle, the powers that be have been gunning for Aaron Maté. Right from the beginning of the conflict, and indeed, for quite some time before, he has been at the forefront of bringing attention to the role NATO and particularly the US has played in the ongoing clusterfuck consuming Eastern Europe - a role which the MSM has predictably and shamelessly whitewashed.
In this lengthy, sweeping piece of geopolitical journalism, Maté demonstrates how insurgents in Syria, bolstered by American funding and weaponry, have been responsible for untold suffering throughout the Middle East. Naturally, this is far from rosy reading, however what is more ominous still, is not just that the very same things are occurring in Ukraine, but rather that they are being aided and abetted by much of the same cast of corrupt incompetents.
The outbreak of the Syrian insurgency in March 2011, coupled with the fall of Gaddafi, offered the U.S. a historic opportunity to exploit Syria's vulnerabilities. While the Arab Spring sparked peaceful Syrian protests against the ruling Ba'ath party's cronyism and repression, it also triggered a largely Sunni, rural-based revolt that took a sectarian and violent turn. The U.S. and its allies, namely Qatar and Turkey, capitalized by tapping the massive arsenal of the newly ousted Libyan government.
4. The Greatest Trick of All - The Corbett Report
Of all the memes doing the rounds of late, few has struck a chord quite like ‘I support the current thing.’ Even before being tweeted by Elon Musk, the image had come to encapsulate the unthinking, herd-like compliance to the latest establishment talking point/progressive virtue parade. In essence, it is this mentality which is explored in this article by James Corbett – founder of alt-media stalwart, The Corbett Report – likening this society-wide hypnosis accurately and indeed, rather encouragingly, with the mesmeric but ultimately breakable appeal of a magic trick.
Unfortunately for the would-be social engineers, the COVID hysteria is wearing off. In 2022, appealing to people's warm and fuzzy feelings regarding lockdowns and COVID restrictions is far less likely to get them on board with the globalist agenda.
And so, like the skilled magicians they are, the proponents of this agenda are simply taking advantage of the current mania: Russophobia. And—wouldn't you know it?—it turns out that the public's desire to "Switch Off Putin" can be satiated by strict energy controls and resource rationing by a technocratic elite!
5. A Noble Lie
As a non-American, the controversy around the Oklahoma bombing, which killed 168 people, nine of whom were children, rather passed me by. Of course, frequenting sites like Gab and MeWe, I had often heard it mentioned in the same breath as Waco and Ruby Ridge, and so, with the recent 27th anniversary of the tragedy, I decided it time to bring myself up to speed with this oft-cited chapter in conspiracy lore.
Directed and produced by James Lane, the film lays out the government’s narrative of the bombing before breaking down each of its many gaping inconsistencies. From key suspects who were suddenly forgotten to eye witness testimony utterly disregarded, from the impossibility of a single blast inflicting such damage to the quickly cleared away remnants, this documentary does an excellent, albeit dated-looking job in breaking down the FBI’s flagrant dishonesty as well as the media’s collusion in it, crimes which now in 2022, feel almost horrifyingly cliched.
As always, I’ve linked the YouTube version above because that’s the only format that Substack will embed, but the movie can also be found on other more Free Speech-minded platforms such as Bitchute, Odysee, and Rumble.
6. The War Can Only End with More War – The Good Citizen
Unlike the other more explicitly journalistic pieces included here, this article by The Good Citizen – a recent find for me among dissident Substack writers – differs insofar as it falls firmly into the literary fiction category. Documenting the imagined experiences of the young men sent to the front lines of the Ukrainian conflict, it gives voice to the revulsion each of us must surely feel, at watching the western political class at one moment mourning the death and destruction consuming Eastern Europe while simultaneously pumping in all the propaganda and weaponry that ensures such death and destruction will continue indefinitely.
Forget the Nazis, the Oligarchs, the cocaine comic, the NATO clowns, the American empire war complex, the district of corruption, the demented diapered one, the EU tyrants begging for economic and energy catastrophes a la carte.
They all stand to gain from the blood of young Ukrainians, from their sacrifice for a set of conditions that were never going to be met even when all the world knew it before a single shot was fired.
They played Russian roulette with a country and most people celebrating its sacrifice for global evil can’t point to it on a map. They all cry out in unison like one mindless drone across the earth: “Keep dying youngbloods! The war will only end with more war!”
